Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make use of services from this website (the “Site”). This policy is designed to comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
When you use the FundFinder tool or fill out a contact form, we collect personal information from you, such as your name, email address, and financial profile information (financial goals, risk tolerance, investment time horizon). We refer to this as “User-Provided Information”.
“Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy refers to both Device Information and User-Provided Information.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the User-Provided Information to provide the services you request, primarily to generate fund recommendations through our FundFinder tool. The information is processed by our AI model to analyze your profile against available funds.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Your User-Provided Information is not stored or saved after your session on the FundFinder tool ends. It is used in-memory for the duration of the analysis and is then discarded.
3. Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to outside parties. Your User-Provided Information is processed by a third-party AI service (e.g., Google's Gemini) for the sole purpose of generating your fund recommendations. These providers are bound by their own strict privacy and security policies.
4. Your Rights (PDPA)
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access: Request access to a copy of your personal data that we hold about you.
- Correction: Request the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
To exercise these rights, please contact us through the contact information below.
5. Data Protection
We implement reasonable security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date of the last update will be indicated at the top of this policy.
8. Contact Us (Data Protection Officer)
For more information about our privacy practices, if you have questions, or if you would like to make a complaint, please contact our Data Protection Officer, Gwendalynn Lim Wan Ting, at gwen@fundfinder.com.
Guidelines on Switching of Designated Investment Products
The following is a required disclosure based on Guideline No: FAA-G10 from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Prominent Warning
You may incur fees and charges as a result of (i) the disposal of, or reduction in interest in, an existing investment product; and (ii) the acquisition of, or increase in interest in, a new investment product.
Before switching from one investment product to another, you should find out whether you are entitled to free switching and consider carefully whether any fees, charges or disadvantages that may arise from a switch would outweigh any potential benefits.
Some of the disadvantages associated with switching include the following:
- you may incur transaction costs without gaining any real benefit from the switch;
- the new investment product may offer a lower level of benefit at a higher cost or same cost, or offer the same level of benefit at a higher cost;
- you may incur penalties for terminating the existing investment product; and
- the new investment product may be less suitable for you.
You should seek the advice of your financial adviser when in doubt or if you require further clarification.
